Numbers are strange things.

They come into a person’s life almost as soon as he or she is born and stay with the person, in one form or another, for the rest of his or her life. The first thing they do to a baby now is weigh it, measure it, and tell the parents, “Congratulations your son or daughter weighs “X” Pounds.”

And the worries start, “ Is that too much?” or “ Is it too less?”

But, sometimes numbers can be satisfying and can give pleasure. For example the numbers 2, 27, 150 and 50000 have a special significance for me at this point in space and time, and in a good way.

Lets take the 2 first. It has been almost two years since I started blogging. I am not sure what I expected from blogging when I started, but I think it was more out of curiosity than anything else. You hear the word “blog” doing the rounds and you ask yourself, “What is this all about?” You fail to get a satisfactory answer and so you decide to get into the water and see for yourself what it is all about. At the end of two years I still cant say that I have figured what blogging is all about, and that keeps me going.

27. That’s how old I will be in less than a month’s time. Do I feel old? To tell you the truth, not at all. Maybe it is because I still have a few days of the 26th year still left in me.

Now this is a statistic that I might have missed, but as I began posting this morning, I realized this was my 150th post. Not bad for someone who started with posting once every week or so.

50,000. This is one that I had been keeping an eye out for, and had decided a long time ago that when it comes, I will do a post about it. As I logged in to the blog this morning, I found that this blog had had its 50,000th view. It took me two years to get here, but still, it is very satisfying.

So, these are a few numbers that can be called milestones in my journey as a blogger. And milestones are great blessings because they tell us that we are not walking in vain, that every step we take is taking us closer to our destinations.

Wow 50,000 views that's great! I just passed 10,000 the other day. I've been on a little less than a year on the current blog. And 27 years is still very yound! Enjoy your twenties!

As a long time numerologist, I am always seeing synchronicity with numbers. Of course, I find numbers fascinating so I am very aware of numbers, thus I am usually in awe of how the numbers work in this world. Happy BYB Sunday!

I wish I was still in my twenties. LOL Sorry I hated it when people told me that then and I am sure you hate it now.

Congratulations on the 50,000 count. That's amazing.
My blog, unfortunately, is almost a year old with just 1000+ visitors to it's credit. Of course, I'm not such an active blogger so that's kinda okay.
