One of the definitions of an Oasis - as given by the free dictionary - is a situation or place preserved from surrounding unpleasantness. Festival times are just such a place in our busy lives.Without saying much, I hope all of us have a great time while we are at the Oasis. Eat, Drink and be Merry!

I tried for a very long time to upload a photo (was going to add more but couldn't even get one up) so I have no blog for today YET! Even church was cancelled == got a phone call saying there would be no service today. It snowed all day yesterday and then froze and even tho the buses are running, there is not much traffic.
If I don't get a post up, I also wish to send my blessings for a happy and prosperous New year.
