An Apology...

I try and do my best not to let whats going on in my personal life affect what I right here, because writing, I think, should be above that. But I guess I am wrong.

Sometimes, things take control so completely that one is overwhelmed and there is one thought that you cant get out of your mind. The last week has been like that for me. I miss something in my life and I miss it really bad and hope to have it back again soon. Thats all I am going to say about whats wrong. I am sure thats not what you want to read on here either. But this week I have nothing special. That is why the post is titled An apology.

One thing that I have been wondering for some time now is that for the last few posts I have been getting five to six comments on an average and I think some of them do need a reply. But I am not sure where is the right place to do it. I dont want to do it in the comments section because that seems to me like I am trying to increase the number of comments on my blog myself. So, I thought it would be a good idea to have a replies to comments section at the end of every post. What do you think?

Who cares what people think about wheather you comment on your own blog and thus increase the number of comments, it's called threading and people like to thread on posts. If someone lives you a comment and you feel the need to reply the best place to do it is right under that person comment or as close as possible. Then if you are up to it you pay the visit and go comment on their blogs. That's what makes this fun.

it happens in everyones life. There are so many nostalgic memories that always takes us to r unforgettable past .And regarding u r wish of having something, i'll pray that u achieve dat , coz the sense of losing sumthing kills an individual mentally.

Baby,

Last week was a bad week for the both of us. I'm sorry it went the way it did, and I will try my best not to let something like that happen again(I promise). Things are better now and we are going to be just fine. I love and miss you too....

Love always, Mahua.

My vote is:

do it in the comments section... makes the comments more interactive.

Oh, and don't do that autosurf monster... That is some sort of spam or something. I had that exact same post on my blog weeks ago.

i agree that you should comment in your comments. i try to reply to everyone who comments on my blog. i enjoy it when people do the same for me.

I agree with the others, comment in the comments. I think that is pretty standard in the blogging world now. Makes it easier to follow the discussion I think.

So the votes are in and the winner is the comment box.

@ Jose,Watch, Christine and Matt: Your comments have decided it for me and thus the replies to the comments will be found right here.

@readingpeoplesmind: Yes it does and thanks for your wishes and prayers. They bore fruit.:)

@ Sparklez: Baby I am so glad everything is allright and things are so much better. We are going to be great not just fine. Love always. Muwaah...

I have been lurking here for a while so I thought I might as well leave a comment. You are a wonderful writer with thought provoking writings. Its inspirational to read some of them. Keep up the great work.

You can response to their comments anyway you want. It doesnt matter. For me, I do visit those who leave a comment at my site. Sometimes its good to know your readers.

I reply to comments by adding to the comment left. I put an asterix next to the name and put my addition to the comment in bold. I am not sure you can do this through blogger though.

It's great to follow the conversation and perhaps jump in. This is very meaningful for a blog reader.

That life affects you and your writing is a given --- people come to blogs because there are real people behind them. At least for me, that's what balances the whole dehumanizing side of the internet.

I also love running commentaries in the comments sections. One of the things I've really longed for is a venue for intelligent conversations (those who remember usenet may recall UN-intelligent conversation from that era).

So I think you're doing things right. If you disagree I may get upset. I might just --- and I'm not making hollow threats here --- I might pout if you don't agree :-)
