So, I followed that link and, I must say, that it was a good site. As I went through the various articles and pages, I felt that there was an un-harnessed potential in my blog that I could harness and gain many more readers and make some money in the process. I decided to bring about a change here and a change there and make my blog a lean, mean killing machine (pardon the cliché).
But, all of a sudden I thought, “Why had I started this blog in the first place?”
And I knew the answer. I started this blog because I wanted to be read, because I felt that I had something to say, that I wanted, at least someone, to hear or read it and be affected in some way. Maybe I was being presumptuous- I wanted people to read this blog, and I hoped that it would start some kind of thought process. I don’t know if I ever succeeded in that, but I tried.
Maybe, this blog was also an attempt by me to bring about some discipline into my life , to crystallize my random thoughts into words and give them a platform where I could see them and show them to the rest of the world, if they looked good on that platform.
I don’t know if the blog has achieved what it set out to. Maybe I will never know, but what I did realize is that every blog, just like every human, is and should be different. There are no set rules, there are no limits, there is no purpose but to exist and do that in style.
So, I decided to cancel all the changes that I had decided to make. This blog has been like this, this blog is like this, this blog will belike this. For, this blog has a reason to be.
What is your reason to blog?

About a year back I wrote about why we blog as well. Let me search my archives... link
Well I know the reason that I visit your blog IS because you write about life experiences and put things forth to question which ask us to think
So while I do think there's nothing wrong with sprucing up our blogs here & there (if we feel like it), go ahead and keep up with the good content! :)
Review of your blog I did for fun while reviewing another blog ;)
I've always hated the word "blog". it seems so empty and lifeless.
I write what I write because I have something to say. It's a release... nothing more.
I put it on the web because I like conversation.
I'm not really interested in making money. I just write because I write.
What a coinkidink - I'm thinking that one over myself!
Your site has made me think about things. I can point you as a reason why I think "there is intelligent life on the internet." I find that much of what you have to say resonates with me. If you were to become an "internet prostitute" of a blog I would miss you.
Now mind you, if there were a way to become rich off my site (HA!) I would probably sell out in a cold second, but it would have to be a lot of money...OK maybe just a reasonable amount of money :-)
Seriously though, I'm glad you are here.
Hello Sir,
My friends always complained that I rarely express myself.
Now when i'm on Blogger I think i got voice & reasons to express myself. Now if people appreciate my thinking they become my friends{on blog} rest all just pass by.:).
Stev: I Read your post, and I guess these questions arise in every blogger's mind at some time or the other. Thank you for visiting my blog and the review.
Sunkingpoet: It does indeed. I think that is the best thing to do- write because we want to and let the other things take care of themselves.
Candace: These questions arise in every blogger's mind at one time or another.
Whatever: Thanks for the comment, I am really flattered, in a good way, of course.
Sunil: A blog is most definitely a place where you can express yourself and let others see that side of you which sometimes remains unseen. In fact, sometimes a blog might reveal something about yourself to you that you didnt know was there.
