A few pictures

When I bought a camera a few weeks back, I thought that the photographer in me would be unleashed now, and there will a lot of pictures and some of them would even turn out to be really amazing. But, unfortunately, it was another one of my misconceptions. At the end of more than a month, all I have is about 20-25 pictures, and out of them only 5 0r 6 are worth having a second look. I am posting them here, hopefully, for your viewing pleasure.

A lamp post under being put up not very far from my house.

A solitary flower in the balcony of our house. This was one of the first pictures I took with the camera. Looking around for something to take a picture of, the single flower was standing upright against the wall like a guy, who wants to be photographed but is too shy to say anything. Luckily for the flower, I was there to oblige.

View from the new bridge on the river Sutlej. The old bridge was lower, and often during floods, the water used to touch the bridge. Now with the new bridge, and its new height, there is almost no chance of that happening.

Any set of pictures is incomplete without a picture of clouds...

...and rain.

Lastly, to add some personal touch, here is a picture of my Uncle's house.

These are great pictures. The clouds and rain are wonderful. That's a great moment you caught with the light just gracing one part of the cloud. The river is something else again, too. Water is mighty...

God bless your Sunday!
