As we grow up the number of things we have to do on any given day increases manifold, but the number of hours in a day are still fixed at 24. So, time management becomes very important and so does prioritization. There are many things we would like to do in a day, but, at the end of the day we find that we manage to find time only for a few of these things. The rest get converted into wishes, desires and dreams.
Working out is one of the things that all of us plan to do, but most of us fail to do. The reason is simple: lack of time. But, working out is one of the best things that we can do with our time.
Working out makes us more active and alert, both physically and mentally. It also improves our immunity to various afflictions and keeps us fit. Thus, working out instead of taking up our time actually creates time for us. Time that we can use to do the things that we have always wanted to do.
And from personal experience I can say that on the few days I actually exercise, there is an over all sense of well being that lasts through the day. There are very few things that can make you feel good about yourself the way working out can.
So, I feel, working out is a great blessing that is ours for the taking, and we should grab it with both hands. What say you?

I agree with you completely -- my "working out" is hiking/walking. On days that I take the time to do it, I feel so much better. I never learned how to dive so walking has been a blessing for me too. I don't stay home because I don't have a ride. Because of a necessity to walk, I have developed a love of it which in return rewards me health wise.
I agree, Neo. I don't work out by going to a gym or doing a set of exercises but by walking a few miles every day. The days I don't, feel awful.
Happy BYB Sunday. I hope you have a great week.
Anything with the word "work" is usually suspect for me... :)
We don't do the gym thing, but Sue and I go for VERY long walks (hikes) every week as a rule for exorcise and a little "adventure"!
...and I'd also like to think we work-out our brains regularly too! :)
Goodly post! Thanks for sharing it!
Great post Neo! Happy BYB Sunday! :)
now why dont we exercise more :P
whatever your fav form of working out maybe - good point that (especially with all the good food going in XD)
I've been trying to work out more too. I've started walking a mile at least once or twice a week, depending on the weather outside! Happy BYB.
You can do my working out for me :)
Happy BYB Sunday and have a good week.
I fully agree....like right now I should be taking my dog out for a walk!
A very special post on my BYB today.
When you exercise you feel better?!! Talk about blessings!
I actually do exercise around 30min every day. I bribe myself by watching DVDs while I do it, otherwise there would be no way.
