BYBS : Happy Mother's Day!

(To join Blog Your Blessings Sunday, and get your name on the blogroll, click on the banner above and follow the simple instructions.)

I was on Twitter earlier and saw many Mother's Day messages posted there. I did some research, and soon found out that Mother's Day is celebrated on different days in different parts of the world. It comes as no surprise. A person as special as a mother should have a special day, every day of the year.

Out of all the people in the world that we take for granted, our mothers are the ones that always get taken for granted. Since they have been with us from the very first moment of our existence on Earth, we feel that they will always be there. This belief sometimes leads us to neglect the most important relationship that we have.

Celebrating days, like Mother's Day, is a good way to remember things which are easy to forget, especially with our lives becoming busier and tougher with every passing day. However, being busy and having a difficult life are no excuse for not doing the right thing. Therefore, if life happens and we are sidetracked from our main objective, reminders like Mother's Day are a great way to get back on track.

Here, are two songs from Hindi Movies that celebrate the spirit of Mother's Day. These songs are in Hindi, so my apologies to the non-Hindi speaking crowd. But, if you watch the videos you might just like them:

Ah, 29 is such a young age but congratulations on the milestone :) Thanks for the video clips too. I missed BYBS this week due to unforeseeable circumstances and you can't really schedule those types of posts ahead of time. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed your Sunday and may you have many blessings this week.
