Merry Christmas!

Its that day of the year again when one does not need a reason to be joyous and merry. One just is. For one day all worries are brushed aside and the festive spirit drenches our hearts, our bodies and souls.

One thing that globalization has brought about is the internationalisation (I hope that is a word) of various festivals and days that are celebrated in different parts of the world. Christmas is no longer a celebration of a particular religion or country, but is a day that is, now, celebrated all across the globe. Similarly, other festivals that were earlier limited to a particulat region, country or community are getting noticed and celebrated throughout the world. In today's world we need more and more reasons to celebrate, and even if we celebrate every day of the year, we still, can do with a few more reasons.

For now, I will not bore you with any more words ; the air is cold and crisp, joy and happiness are spreading everywhere and our beloved Santa can not be far behind. Wishing everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
