I begin by offering my apologies for the longer than usual time gap between my previous post and this one. Without going into any details, I will just say that life has a terrible habit of catching you unawares, and knocking you down. But one must get up and keep going, as long as he has the will and the ability to do so.
As far as the question of closing this blog, as I was contemplating in my previous post, I have decided to keep on posting here. With that said, I am sure some of you must be distressed to know that I am going to bore you with my posts for some more time. Sorry, but I can’t help that I like to blog.
On another note, India now has her first women President. Though, as I have said before, in India the real executive powers lie with the Prime Minister and the President is almost a rubber stamp that has yet it will be interesting to see how she performs as The President of the largest democracy in the world.
Her start has been a shaky one as a lot of mud was thrown on her by various political parties that had opposed her election. But with her winning the elections to the President support, her critics have been silenced for a while. But for how long, remains to be seen.

Glad to see you're still here Blue.
Since you've already decided to stay I'll only say that you should blog as long as it makes you happy. And if you need a break now and then (I know I do) take one.
There's nothing wrong with taking a break every now and then. "wink" My blessings to India's new President.
My personal opinion is that the president's post should be 'politically immune'. It should be given to some exemplary personality, who understands the importance of social responsibility associated with this 'superfluous'(In the Indian context) post.
Glad you're sticking around! Thanks for a great post. Looking forward to what tomorrow brings.
Oldguy:I am glad to be here too. And I agree about the break thing. When you need one, you need one.
Maze: And she will need these blessings and some more.
Aayush: Though you are right, yet the person in charge of such a post needs to have a certain knowledge of the constitution and the political system, otherwise he or she can be eaily misled.
Sandy:Me too!
