Music goes down well with almost anything. Whatever mood a person might be in, there is a song for it. But, the best company for music is love, and vice versa.
The reason might be that love is the subject of most poems or songs ever written. Also, both love and music are about passion. But, whatever the reason might be, I am sure everyone will agree that Love and Music are just made for each other.
There is a song written for every stage of love - the first time you see her/him, the first time you meet, the first kiss, marriage, and even heartbreak. There is a song for every kind of lover - the romantic, the passionate, the dreamer, and the aggressive.
I started thinking on the subject, when, recently, I saw this song on TV. I must have seen it before, but I really had not paid attention to it until this time. I am sure most of you must have heard it before, but you can never hear a good song too many times, can you?
I was trying to embed the video for the song here, but it turns out that embedding has been turned down by request. So you will have to click on the link below to watch the video.

I know that song and love it. Such sorrow. It has been done many times over the years.
Music is a step beyond poetry, I think. It picks up where the finest of words must stop because they can't capture the feeling.
Happy BYB Sunday, Neo.
Didn't have to go to the music as it is playing in my heart the minute I read the name of it! Good essay for your blessing again this week. Come and read mine.
Great clip and post. I wrote about music today, too. Great minds and all that . . .
Have a great week.
I enjoyed your thoughtful post and the link to the ‘official version’ of this familiar song by John Denver … made famous by Peter, Paul & Mary … a version I’ve never seen or heard previously. It’s long been a favorite of mine, and thanks to the arrival of my new laptop I was able to listen to it without having my old laptop freeze up.
Hugs and blessings,
wonderful! this blog is really a blessing
